I meant to have this chapter finished by last weekend, but there isn’t enough hours in the day! Maybe there would be if things didn’t gang up on me all at once. I have a cold, and two of my furry friends had an emergency trip to the vet. Beloved cat, and star of Ghost in the Park, Billy, had to stay at the vet five long days. Little ferret, Mushu, got to come home right away, but has 3 meds to take for a tummy bug. Both are doing wonderfully now, and the vet got 600 bucks for the set. Which led to me working overtime all this past week, also not condusive to writing.

I finally got chapter eight done, but it seems like it was sometimes one paragraph at a time.
